As an early-to-mid career Test Engineer at Pulsara, you will be an integral part of our Agile development team, dedicated to building and ensuring the quality of our mobile and web applications.

Your primary job focus and day-to-day activities will include:

• Working with a small agile team to provide design feedback, test, and ship new features
• Learning new features and becoming an expert in the related product areas
• Creating and executing test plans
• Reporting product defects and verifying fixes
• Communicating product feedback and helping refine requirements as needed
• Designing reusable test scenarios for later manual testing or new automation coverage
• Collaborating with other testers on test parties, test scenarios, and test review
• Bringing your testing mindset and being a fierce customer advocate

Our Day-To-Day Tech Stack Includes:

• Internal APIs in Ruby and Kotlin
• MySQL database
• AWS cloud
• iOS native app in Swift
• Android native app in Java/Kotlin
• Web app in Javascript/Angular

To Excel in this Role, We Seek Candidates With the Following Skills:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5 years working in a similar position
• Creating and executing test plans
• Accurate defect reports capturing reproducible steps
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Test case creation
• Experience with JIRA, Zephyr, G Suite
• Knowledge of basic git commands and GitHub functionality
• Familiarity with browser debugging tools
