Job description

· The well-qualified applicant will be enthusiastic, compassionate, possess excellent communication skills, and should enjoy working as part of a cohesive team in a busy environment

· Candidate must have experience working in customer service

· Flexible and available to work weekends

· Greet patients in a professional, warm and friendly manner

· Understanding of vaccines, preventions, and other products carried in the hospital

· Perform patient registration and enter client information into company software

· Enter charges, scan charts and ensure patient files and charges are complete and accurate

· Perform patient discharge and process payments

· Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner

· Coordinate faxes and referrals with other veterinarians and veterinary hospitals

· Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting area and front office area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• Laurel, MD 20723: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
