We are seeking a dedicated employee to join our team at Epic Video Game Bus in the video game industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with the owner to facilitate video game and laser tag parties as an assistant. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth for the right individual.

We require someone with experience working with children, such as in a camp counselor, daycare, or Legoland setting. This position demands patience, excellent communication skills with children and adults, and open availability on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Game Coach assistant is responsible for ensuring that the children have a fantastic time. The position is enjoyable but necessitates video game experience and knowledge (which you will learn on the job) and a great personality, as we operate in the entertainment industry.

Most of our business is generated from private birthday parties, which typically take place on weekends. As a result, this is mainly a weekend position. We also offer our services for school fundraisers, student rewards, school and church carnivals, and other community events that can take place during the week.

The successful applicant must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, have a good driving record, and have access to their vehicle to commute to and from work.

Requirements:

• Reside in North County San Diego, as this is where our operations are based.
• Possess experience driving a LARGE truck. The objective is to train you to become the primary operator of the video game bus.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Own a vehicle.
• Possess some knowledge of video games.
• Have a clean driving record with no traffic accidents or tickets in the last five years.
• Possess a clean background and be able to pass a background check as we deal with kids.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay:

This is a 1099 position. Starting pay is $20 per hour plus tips. Once you are trained to run parties on your own, pay will increase to $25-35/hr + tips.

Current employee makes an average of $250-$450 a weekend working 5-8 hours a day.
