Position Title: Video & Graphic Creator
Reports To: Social & Digital Media Director
Hours Per Week: 30 hours

Summary of Position

The Video & Graphic Creator is a member of the Media Team and is responsible for production and post-production duties involving the weekly video announcements, creative video projects, marketing spots and other projects as assigned. The Video & Graphic Creator is responsible for being creative and innovative in the media ministry of the church.

Qualifications

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop/Illustrator AND Premiere Pro
Can create and write in/out of group settings
Gets fired up about getting their hands on a camera and making movie magic
Enjoys all the phases of the filmmaking process
Balances humility with confidence in their vision
Laid-back but hard-working
Not easily offended
Has a strong work ethic
Driven to constantly improve their skill set as a way to tell better stories
Calm under pressure

-Has a keen eye for the latest trends in graphic design
-Attention to detail in design
-Must be able to work independently to meet deadlines
-Proven experience working in a creative team environment to conceptualize ideas
-Works well with others!
-Ability to translate ideas and concepts into creative visuals for print and online
-Can properly and effectively create content for use on multiple platforms
-Understands and is knowledgeable on the graphic standards for print and digital

Responsibilities:

Develop creative concepts for weekend experiences
Write scripts/shot lists for video projects
Develop story pieces alongside other ministry leaders
Film and edit creative pieces for worship services
Recruit and develop team of volunteers to shoot and direct projects

Schedule, Classification

This is a full-time, exempt position.. The Video & Graphic Creator reports to the Social & Digital Media Director and is expected to maintain weekly office hours and flexibility for special projects as needed. Please Note: a demo reel is required to be considered for this position. Please make sure your submission includes links to your work.
