ACCOUNTANT

CPA or CPA Candidate preferred but not required. 2+ years working in a Public Accounting Firm preferred.

Great opportunity in a well-established, mid-sized public accounting firm located in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

We are a full-service Certified Public Accounting Firm serving businesses and individuals in the Baltimore-Washington-Annapolis metropolitan areas and beyond, since 1965.

Our large client base provides our team a variety of industries including professional services, commercial and retail, real estate, employee benefit plans, estate and trusts and non profit organizations to work with performing a broad range of professional services.

We are currently hiring a full time CPA or CPA candidate whose primary responsibility will be, but not limited to, the performance of audit, review and compilation engagements in various industries.

Experience:

· 2+ years in a public accounting firm (Preferred)

· 2+ years individual, partnership, corporate (C & S) and nonprofit preparation (Preferred)

Required Qualifications:

· BS degree in accounting or related field.

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

· Accounting and tax software experience.

· Ability to use online research resources.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent problem solving skills.

· Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

· Reliable, detail orientated, ability to multitask.

· Strong team player.
