Job description
We have an excellent opportunity for an Inventory Accountant in our Troy, Ohio manufacturing facility.
In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:
- Month end closing responsibilities including reconciling accounts, generating closing entries and reports.
- Inventory control and reconciliation, including participating in inventories and reconciling inventory transactions.
- Assist with development and management of standard costs for all BPC facilities.
- Provide support to other Plant functional areas as directed by the Plant Controller.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting. CPA or CMA a plus.
- Minimum of one year prior financial or cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Oracle ERP Applications experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
