Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track and analyze manufacturing costs
- Prepare financial reports for management, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of experience in cost accounting, in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
