Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely and accurate delivery of client work.
• Supervise and lead a team of accountants and bookkeepers.
• Oversee and supervise the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, booked accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements.
• Build strong relationships with clients and serve as their primary point of contact.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and other accounting deliverables.
• Review work completed by the team and provide constructive feedback to improve quality.
• Create client project management plan to tackle clean-up of Financial Statements and successfully manage project deadlines.
• Contribute to the development of the company’s overall strategy and to help align the organization around key objectives and priorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Payroll or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Prior experience managing projects and people
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of tax and payroll compliance and regulatory requirements.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
