NAV Fund Administration Group is looking for a well-organized Accounting Specialist to provide support for the company’s accounting function. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the overall efficiency of NAV’s rapidly growing, industry-changing business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Handle a broad range of accounting and bookkeeping duties to support overall accounting activities, payables and receivables.
• Enter and reconcile QuickBooks general ledger entries.
• Reconcile company’s ledger entries with bank records.
• Review payment history reports, communicate with stakeholders regarding collection matters, generate invoices as needed, and reconcile accounts receivable records.
• Conduct research, collect and analyze data, and prepare memos, budgets, reports, presentations and other documents as requested.
• Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Assist with any ad-hoc projects or other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably at least 3 years at one company. Prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
• Track record of accurately and efficiently supporting overall accounting activities.
• Possess a comprehensive knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, including accounts payables, accounts receivables, general ledger postings, and invoicing.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented. Must possess good time management, work prioritization, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• History of building and maintaining strong relationships, taking initiative, anticipating needs and exercising independent/sound judgment.
• Substantial QuickBooks experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Teams).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration is required.

Salary: $23.43 - $28.21 per hour
