Responsibilities

• The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function of the organization.
• The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of accounts payable specialists and ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• The candidate will be expected to review and approve vendor invoices, resolve invoice discrepancies, and ensure that payments are made according to the organization's policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
• Review and reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements.
• Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment issues and inquiries.
• Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Understanding of the purchasing process and the links between purchasing and accounts payable functions as these are cross functional areas.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience managing a team.
• Years of experience: 3-5 years in accounts payable preferred.
