HCMS Administrator
Summary
The HCMS Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for the Human Capital Management System (HCMS) utilized by the HR, Finance, Payroll, and administrative departments for their mission of attracting and retaining talent at GESMV. This expert will provide guidance on system strategy, testing, support, and training for the platforms administrators and end users. This administrator will be responsible for aligning information technology expertise with knowledge of business processes to optimize the organization’s HR and Operations practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support and manage the design, configuration, and performance of GESMV’s HCMS system including, but not limited to, Ceridian Dayforce and other relevant information systems.
  • Analyze, design, and implement process improvement changes across departments.
  • Collaborate with Executive Management and other agency management to identify ongoing business needs and propose solutions.
  • Assist in HCMS functions like business process and workflow configuration and system policy management.
  • Facilitate, create, and maintain analytics documentation, including support processes, data functionality, procedures, security, and protocols that meet best practice standards.
  • Work closely and collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment and training of Ceridian Dayforce or other applicable technology.
  • Analyze HCMS performance metrics and resolve application issues including, but not limited to, system outages, security, and product releases.
  • Maintain the HCMS system of record by ensuring data integrity, analyzing data, and implementing data governance controls.
  • Create user accounts, manage access, and update employee information.
  • Record and securely store confidential employee and company information in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Audit HR, Payroll, and Timekeeping processes and documents, including payroll administration, staff turnover, hiring, and termination of service when required.
  • Work with Data Strategy team to implement and manage Learning Management System for continued education as it aligns with the HCMS platform.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, HR, or related field. Will consider Associate degree with an additional 1-3 years of direct experience in place of Bachelor’s degree. Will consider experience in combination with education.
  • Minimum three years’ experience with Information Systems, Human Capital Management Systems, or Business Administration.
  • Experience with high-volume workforces (Ceridian Dayforce preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of labor legislation and data protection regulations, with ability to maintain and handle confidential information.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to quickly and effectively handle multiple priorities and assignments to meet deadlines while maintaining professional composure.
  • Proven ability to analyze systems and processes and work with internal stakeholders to design and implement improvements.
Qualifications
Must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider.
Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
