Caterpillar has exciting opportunity for a Machine Specialist / Toyoda Operator at our East Peoria, IL (Undercarriage Building BB) facility! Pay starts at $25.56 plus $.75 per hour shift differential .
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Setting up, operating and adjusting one or more numerically controlled drilling and boring machines (with or without milling capabilities) where the feeds, speeds and cycle are fully controlled by encoded instructions.
Qualifications:
- Previous machining experience
- Ability to read/write and interpret documents in English
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous machine operating experience
- Awareness of Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain (5S) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Good communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Additional Information:
- This position does not offer relocation
- This position requires no travel
- Current opening on 2nd shift
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
- Positions are supplemental full-time
