Job Title: Automotive/Diesel Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automotive/Diesel Technician technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel vehicles, including changing oil, fuel filters, and performing other relevant tasks associated with a lube tech. As a member of our team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and reliability of a fleet, and you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of diesel vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fuel filter changes, and other required services.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel vehicles.

- Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles to ensure their continued safe and efficient operation.

- Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and address them before they become major problems.

- Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed on each vehicle.

- Communicate effectively with other members of the team to ensure that all vehicles are maintained in a timely and efficient manner.

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a fleet maintenance technician, with a focus on diesel vehicles.

- Knowledge of diesel engines, including the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.

- Experience performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and fuel filter replacements.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.

- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
