Job description
Seeking seasoned BA/Data Analyst for a short term opportunity in the Washington D.C. Metro area.
Currently the statistical processing and formatting of data is done using SAS programs. The resulting outputs are refined formatted datasets for posting to the website. * The code for formatting the data files is dated and needs to be updated * Current SAS code needs to be reviewed and documented to assess the current inputs, outputs with the objective being to identify what tasks the program performs to be rewritten in R.
Duties:
- Work with staff to create documentation of the input files and the output datasets
- Assess existing code
- Gather requirements and document specifications and acceptance criteria
- Documentation of the processing and formatting data (inputs, process flow, outputs, file formats, etc.)
Skills Required
- Familiarity with SAS and R
- Experience with writing specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $10.66 - $50.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
