Description: AlphaFlight is looking for a full-time Certified Flight Instructor for Part 61 and Part 141 ground, simulator and flight instruction.
Compensation: $30 per hour flight or ground instruction; $40 per hour Multi-Engine flight instruction. 2% commission for every new student that you bring in that enrolls in a course.
Duration of Employment: Immediate full-time position available.
Hours: Flexible hours—you schedule yourself—but you are expected to work (Sunday mornings and Holidays, optional) as client needs dictate.
Requirements:
- Hold current FAA CFI, CFII certificates. MEI preferred but not required.
- Pass an AlphaFlight HR interview and flight evaluation
- Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test
- Agree to adhere to the standardized AlphaFlight training curriculum/procedures
- Have a dedication towards excellence
- Are punctual and willing to work any day of the week based on client availability
- Are comfortable with variable, gusty and crosswind conditions up to the maximum demonstrated for the airplane
Responsibilities:
- Manage Part 61 and Part 141 enrolled students’ training
- Refuel and clean aircraft windows as needed
- Conduct safe operating practices in an uncontrolled airfield environment
