This position will gain a unique perspective in how level measurement devices are built and how they operate.
Level Probe Construction:
Equipment Used:
Vacuum Pump
Wire strippers & wire crimpers
Electric Staple Gun
Multi-meter
Skills Required:
Cable stripping
Mechanical Assembly
Mix & Pour epoxy
Test Probes Mechanically and Electrically
Tasks required:
Assemble Probes using PVC Glue
Epoxy-Fill Probes
Pour rubber mixture to make Level Probe Squeegees
Assemble Level Probe mounting brackets
Perform Vacuum - Water test to ensure epoxy fill is good
Label and Box Level Probes, Squeegee and mounting bracket for shipment
Maintain inventory level of finished goods

Skills Required:
Soldering
Mechanical Assembly
Cable stripping
Mix & pour epoxy, silicon
Quality test points
Calibration
Tasks Required:
Ability to multi-task
Finesse working with precision parts
Maintain product sub-assembly inventory
Maintain inventory of Transducer Vent Bellows (TVB1’s)
Work closely with Quality Inspector at various parts of the manufacturing process
Additional Tasks:
These will not be part of your daily tasks, but areas where you will need to become familiar with as you work here. You will be trained on all of your duties by our shop foreman
Inventory Related:
Receive parts
Put parts into shelf location
Pull orders to be filled
Stamp date code on products before shipping
Keep Joanne updated as to any inventory item that was getting low
Learn which parts may have a long lead and keep tabs on
Paperwork:
Bring paperwork for received parts , signed with received date and quantity received
Bring paperwork to Tami showing products have shipped, or have been signed for
Request Work Orders for stock replenishment work
Bring paperwork for completed Work Orders
Wave Solder:
Work with Manager to make decision on when to wave solder
Warm up machine, run test units
Wave solder products
Clean Wave Solder machine
Testing:
Be sure all defects in manufacturing are brought to Manager attention
Electrical test to ensure conductance path is good to both sides of each sensor point
Electrical tests to ensure the correct wire number is attached to the correct sensor point
Documentation:
Any changes to BOM structure must be documented to update Master B.O.M.
Any changes in test procedures or test fixtures must be documented
Quality Control:
Inspect for quality defects every time you handle a product
Aesthetics are as important as operation
Everything we do must look right – no sloppy products, paperwork, or packaging
Miscellaneous:
Build displays when required
Re-organize shelf locations for new inventory items
Help with physical inventory several times a year
General work that Shop Foreman needs help with

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
