Description

Looking for a Customer Service/Claims Assistant to support our claims department. The representative will answer calls on the switchboard, make proper connections to requested personnel/department and/or provide routine information to callers. Initially the representative will be working in the First Notice Of Loss (FNOL). Which will be when someone is calling in after being in an accident or reporting something stolen. Will be potentially dealing with stressed out individuals so need someone who is prepared for that. Will also be processing work fax/emails from customers to update their documents on file. A lot of reviewing documents through fax/email. Eventually will be taking calls from third party insurance providers, but will work their way into that role.

Skills & Qualifications

1 year of customer service/office experience

Retail/restaurant experience is great

Strong attention to detail

Experience working in a call center preferred

Strong Data Entry skills

At least 35 WPM

Additional Information

Hours could be from 8:00am – 6pm local time – may have staggered shifts (8:30-5:30 and 9-6pm) This position will be on site

Strong attendance/dependability will be very important.
