Holt Communications, Inc. is a public relations and marketing consulting firm. We work with public and private sector clients by executing strategic communications programs that advance infrastructure improvement projects.

Seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team in the Oviedo, FL area. A minimum of two years of public involvement experience is require. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated communications professional who knows how to build relationships, manage multiple projects and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop Community Outreach Plans for projects
• Attend progress meetings and identify project specific impacts to the public
• Write informative collateral materials
• Disseminate project information door-to-door, by mail and electronically
• Write press releases, website and social media content
• Oversee resolution of issues with detailed documentation
• Maintain and engage with database of stakeholders
• Coordinate project presentations, public meetings and special events
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field strongly preferred
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to drive to locations in local area for meetings and outreach

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
