Custodian – Port Huron

Positions start at $13/hour. We need reliable, dependable, and detail-orientated workers. Workers will perform various cleaning duties and maintenance tasks for our customers. Individuals must be physically capable of bending, climbing stairs, reaching, pushing/pulling, lifting, etc.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
- Excellent attendance & reliable transportation
- Pass a background check and reference checking
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Strong communication skills
- Be positive and enthusiastic
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain a healthy and clean environment using approved methods, chemicals & tools.
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
- Operate floor equipment such as auto floor scrubbers and vacuums
- General cleaning of floors, furniture, windows, windowsills, and walls
- Stocking and cleaning of restrooms, break rooms & janitor closets
- Changing light bulbs
- General snow removal from entrances as needed
- Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
