LHH is recruiting for a Contract to Hire Customer Service Representative for one of our Mahwah, NJ clients. After a 4 week onsite training, this role is Hybrid , with 2-3 days in the office. This role can pay $20-$21/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Main purpose of the role is to facilitate all Order Escalation from retailer network from time of escalation until retailer receipt of product.


Responsibilities:

  • Review each incoming escalation to determine priority status based on criteria provider
  • Follow the Unit Down Standard Checklist, Complete the following for each escalation:
  • Stock awaiting binning in PDC
  • Stock in transit
  • Jaguar or Lard Rover equivalent
  • Supersession with available stock
  • Retailer returns awaiting processing
  • Edix check for stock in local and global retailer’s network
  • Stock in packer, primer, UK, or Global Warehouses
  • ETA available Ipos
  • Line pinch option available
  • Stock held in repat STO
  • Confirm with parts technical for alternative part
  • Previous resolutions for same parts
  • Ensure that Unit Down is updated to indicate all steps have been completed and is visible to the retailer using “Customer Service Comments”
  • Ensure updated are made daily, weekly depending on level of escalation
  • Support Customer Service Logistics and Technical teams with any retailer queries
  • Respond to email as required
  • Liaise with warehouses to ensure priority is given to binning Unit Down products in transit

  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Identify areas for personal development to improve performance in role and actively seek ways to improve
  • Other duties as may be assigned


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High School completion required / Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Parts Technical Experience Preferred
  • Call Center / Customer Service experience required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Proven experience in understanding customer needs
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry a plus
  • Computer literate (knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Parts Catalog Experience a plus
