How will this role have an impact?

As a Director of Network & Voice Operations, you will lead a network engineering team responsible for our global voice and data services.

We are looking for an experienced leader that can drive service improvements as well as process efficiencies to a rapidly growing organization. For this role, we are seeking a candidate with broad understanding of networking both on-premises and within cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the full stack from network up to application and have experience supporting a DevOps environment.

This role will report to our Vice President / Head of IT

What will you do?

• Technical leadership of the network engineering team as well as provide consultative technology partnership to our business functions
• Demonstrate leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to lead change efforts through effective communication and persuasion
• Design / architect solutions that meet the needs of a fast-growing company
• Provide, consistent, global operational support to our network services maximizing availability and performance
• Program / project owner for large scale deployments of technology
• Instill a service first spirit and continuous improvement culture within your team
• Vendor and budget management with a constant eye on scaling the business
• Focus on career development and training to grow and elevate talent within the organization
• Be available on regular basis at the Dallas HQ (Applicants that are currently local to the area are preferred)

We are looking for someone with:

• 10+ years of experience in IT Network Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Experience leading from the front, setting high standards of service, and is metrics / data driven
• Experience in driving large scale initiatives to completion
• Experience balancing a small team with high availability as a key deliverable
• Expertise in networking both on-premises and within cloud environments
• Practical experience with networking cloud environments AZURE/AWS/GCP
• Experience with Infrastructure As A Service (IaaS)
• Experience within an Agile DevOps Framework
• Able to quickly assess Infrastructure and Architecture improvements as necessary and provide actionable plans
• Capability to determine priorities and juggle multiple demands while advancing key deliverables
• Excellent communication and client management skills to maintain positive relations with our customers (internal and external) and technology leadership
• A problem solver who can assess and develop strategies for achieving the needs of the business
• The ability to talk to and relate to the technical and service needs to every level in the organization
• This is a hybrid role, located in the Dallas HQ office. You will spend part of your week at the HQ, but some work can be done remotely.
