The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:

• Provide leadership to the team as a spokesperson, coach, change agent and direction-setter. Develop and foster spiritual growth in oneself and the team.
• Establish and track clear expectations, objectives and measures for the team.
• Nurture a feedback-rich culture to develop individual team members and to foster healthy relationships on the team
• Model personal spiritual discipline and vulnerability, while continually developing a safe environment where individuals can grow in their own personal spiritual walks.
• Lead the Email Strategy team in a positive and collaborative setting while balancing individual responsibilities
• Analyze email and SMS campaigns and techniques used by competitors and industry leaders, and apply transferable methods to the Cru email strategy
• Compile and present email and SMS best practices and guidelines to internal departments
• Develop detailed email and SMS strategies that align to the overarching key outcomes
• Recommend and create A/B and multivariate tests to identify missed opportunities, as well as tactics to increase preferred email metrics
• Directly supervise assigned employees; carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include decisions related to selection, performance appraisal, discipline and salary recommendations.
• Build strong and empowered teams by providing direction, delegation, counsel, mentoring and expertise to individual team leads, while retaining overall responsibility and accountability for results.
• Promote and encourage the development, training and promotion of staff members to assure the perpetuation of a professional and competent workforce.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business and 5+ years using email marketing tools and platforms or the equivalent of: Adobe Campaign Standard, Adobe Experience Manager, and/or certifications in Email Marketing are preferred.
