We are seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect with strong systems, software, application, architecture and Agile DevSecOps experience to join our team and support our clients from our headquarters in Herndon, VA

The candidate must have at least 15 years of experience in the IT field focusing on development projects, DevOps and technical architecture specifically.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive Enterprise Solutions methodology to execute government development requirements in test, development and production environments. As an Enterprise Solutions Architect this position is part of the Technology Group and be able to provide consultative, architectural, program and engineering support for our current and prospective customers' journeys.

• Focus on one or more strategic customers to ensure successful delivery of engagement.
• Help in establishing enterprise architecture model and driving solution and data architectures and best practices.
• Partner with development and operations teams to facilitate practical automation solutions and custom modules.
• Assist application teams with on-boarding to the adopted security tools/technologies.
• Advocate for and ensure appropriate security practices are communicated and implemented within application security programs.
• Provide technical solutions, do hands-on coding, establish code review, and SDLC processes, lead teams (if need arises) and other duties as identified.
• Contribute to build & maintain a set of tools for most operational tasks with clear understanding of the requirements.
• Create technical and non-technical artifacts including documents.
• Evaluates business requirements to identify potential software, hardware, and system architectures that can be employed to meet business objectives.
• Provides technical/management leadership on pursuits or technology assignments.
• Architects' delivery, through agile practices, of a microservices approach using a Continuous (code) Integration/Continuous Delivery Pipeline and Open-Source tools.
• Organize and oversee all technical activities necessary to meet customer requirements.
• Assesses business objectives, conducts gap analysis of existing versus needed capability, and identifies business requirements.
• Plan and implement actions by the Agile teams to meet quality requirements for program deliverables.
• Supports internal corporate projects as required.
• Provide Growth support by participating in writing proposal responses, customer presentations and / or attending events aligned with the company strategy.

Work Experience:

• 15 or more years' experience in software development including in a DevSecOps paradigm.
• Experience in designing Enterprise Applications in Lo-code/No-Code environments such as Salesforce / ServiceNow preferred.
• Extensive expertise in Agile and DevSecOps approaches, and experience using many of the tools common to a Development/Test Tool Suite.
• Experience with architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting greenfield and/or migration projects using public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience being an advocate for cybersecurity software engineering practices such as unit testing, code reviews, build testing, and quality engineering practices.
• Prior experience in implementing DevSecOps practices such as build/release management, automating security processes in CI/CD pipeline, and general automation.
• Experience with standards and compliance (HIPAA, ISO-27002, PCI, NIST)
• Experience designing solutions with focus on security with strong understanding of modern authentication technologies like OAuth2.0, SAML
• Demonstrated hands on experience with some or all of the following development and testing tools:
  • Amazon REST Services, React JS, Angular JS, Confluence, Cucumber, GitHub Enterprise, Hibernate, Jasmine, Java, Jenkins, Jira, Junit, Karma, MongoDB, New Relic, Kubernetes, Oracle Database, OWASP, Fortify, Selenium, Serenity, Slack and Spring Framework, Ruby, Cassandra, Postgres, Go, Docker, CloudFoundry, Kafka, Chef, Packer, Terraform, .Net.
• Hands on experience decomposing monolithic to microservices.
• Have prior hands-on coding experience.
• Have experience leading a team through a DevSecOps/DevOps coding/tech challenge.

Job Skills:

• Strong knowledge of key cybersecurity technologies such as network security tools (firewalls, intrusion detection system (IDS)/ intrusion protection system (IPS), content filtering, network access control (NAC), end-point protection (AV, EDR, MDM), data loss prevention, encryption, vulnerability management, security information and event management (SIEM)
• Knowledge of a series of protocols, like multi-factor authentication or zero-trust, that are implemented to secure development and operations processes.
• Excellent communication and Customer facing skills
• Ability to lead a DevSecOps engagement
• Enthusiastic, proactive, positive attitude with great listening skills and high integrity
• Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage concurrent projects
• Ability to think and act strategically, creatively, and proactively

• Able to work under pressure (at times) and to be extremely flexible with changing priorities
• Ability to find innovative ways to solve problems

Education:

• BS in Computer Science / Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology or related field required advance degree is preferred

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

• SAFe certified Scrum Master strongly preferred
• Technical Certifications in cloud service providers (AWS / Azure / GCP) preferred
• Enterprise Architecture Certifications such as TOGAF preferred

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing at all organizational levels
• Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner

Travel:

• Travel to customer site

Environmental Requirements:

• Mainly sedentary; in an office environment. May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
• Flexible in working extended hours
