Landart Solutions, LLC in Fayetteville/Raleigh NC is looking for an Estimator. We are looking for a highly organized and responsible individual to analyze bid documents and compile proposals for the Landscape Construction division of Landart Solutions.

This position will be responsible for producing accurate and timely bid estimates for the landscape construction division. Attending pre-bid and meeting with pre- construction managers as needed.

Responsible for staying abreast of product, supply and sub-contractor prices as well as the operating production capabilities to ensure accurate estimates. This position compiles competitive pricing with vendors, subcontractors, perform site assessments and make decisions on how to adjust price based upon circumstances of site or project.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Strong time management, communication and organization
• Coordinate & communicate with internal and external customers, vendors or personnel for preparing accurate data on estimates.
• The ability to execute professional bids providing thorough clear and concise bid documents within the projected bid timelines
• Support continuous improvement through internal and external partnerships built on value, commitment and integrity.
• Provide value engineering ideas that may improve the Company’s competitive position.
• Responsible for all aspects of the bidding process, including take offs
• Review proposal specifications, drawings, and proposed project schedule to determine if it fits into companies vision and goals
• Develop detailed knowledge of market labor and equipment rates.
• Prepare final estimate summaries, analyzing each section for scope, pricing and completeness.

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years experience in commercial estimating.
• Professional and verifiable experience in estimating using software such Aspire or similar product.
• Experience using Bluebeam or other similar takeoff platforms.
• Read and understand blueprints, details, and specifications.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work independently while embodying integrity.
• Valid driver's license.
• Have a clean background so that they may access military installations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
