DogServices provides dog boarding, dog daycare, and dog grooming, at our 3 locations in Richmond and Glen Allen Virginia. We are growing and need to hire the best of the best! DogServices offers benefits for full time employees including health insurance, long term disability and life insurance, 401K, and paid vacation. Full time and part time positions are available. Ex: of shifts would be 1-10pm, 3-10 pm, 4-10 pm, etc.

Requirements for all DogServices positions include a positive attitude, a strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to work unsupervised, ability to lift 40lbs and be on your feet for extended times, be familiar with small/large dog breeds and dog behavior, be able to work individually and as part of a team, be friendly and reliable, have compassion for and love our dogs as if they were your own.

Evening Kennel Attendant duties will include: feeding and medicating, working unsupervised, rotating dogs outside to play, supervising dogs while outside, cleaning kennels and playrooms (including poop, pee, vomit), dusting, doing laundry, washing bowls, securing the building and mopping.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year experience in animal care in a professional setting, working in a kennel or vet’s office. Volunteer experience in an animal shelter or with a rescue group will also be considered. Certification in pet first aid and CPR is a plus. One weekend night and most holidays are required.

DogServices has been serving Richmond dogs and their families for over 25 years.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
