Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Farrowing Technician to join our team in Hicksville.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-3:00pm, partial shift every 3rd weekend.
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $16.05 with the potential of increasing to $17.30 after 90 days

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

• Processing and vaccinating newborn piglets.
• Caring for ill animals per veterinary and manager guidance and maintaining records.
• Maintaining a designated feeding routine.
• Keeping up on barn maintenance and cleanliness, which includes power washing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
