Equivalent ExperienceDescription:
Seeking an entry level field technician for a role assisting building inspections in the Portland area. Duties include: - Perform testing on materials including, soils, reinforcing steel, concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, metal decking, roofing and asphalt paving -Collect and analyze field samples of rock, soil, etc - Write Daily Field Reports documenting work performed by the various contractors and indicating compliance/non-compliance with contract documents - Coordinate with the department manager about progress of projects. -Ability to lift up to 50lbs to transport material samples, and move nuclear densometer.
