The Challenge:
The Financial Analyst will be the primary focal point to our capture and program execution teams with a responsibility to ensure that the budget, financial status, and resource planning for assigned projects and programs are maintained at all times. The Financial Analyst is a key member of our program management team.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for leading financial analysis, communicating status, and supporting execution on an integrated product team.
  • Supports contract negotiations, performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure programs are within negotiated values, program baselines and government guidelines
  • Responsible for developing and reviewing Estimates at Completion (EACs), including analyzing labor and material inputs; preparing month-end reports; preparing and maintaining spend plans
  • Manage forecasting of program cost and revenue in various business systems
  • Establish projects and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), maintain structure and processes project changes timely in ERP system
  • Produce high quality products supporting the projects
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist Business Development with forecasting revenue for new opportunities
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting/mathematics or related discipline plus 5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting with a US government contractor OR equivalent experience

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with various US government and commercial contract types, to include CPFF
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS
  • Exemplary teamwork skills to support reaching functional and organizational goals
  • Proven analytical, root cause and problem-solving skills, including ability to successfully perform independent, in-depth analysis and generate concise conclusions
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and quality
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments under pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting as needed
  • U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Security clearance
