Job description
With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.

This position is located at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Berkeley Community Mental Health Center, 403 Stoney Landing Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461

As Fiscal Technician will assist in processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Responsible for cashier operations and functions including preparing credit card, cash, and check receipts. You will assist in the receipt, inventory, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment. Assists in the assignment and maintenance of state-owned vehicles.
You will prepare and/or assists in the preparation of invoices, receipts, vouchers, bank deposits, budget requests, projections, summary reports, payroll, and payroll files. Gathers and compiles information for reporting purposes (e.g., numbers and types of license applications, tax or fee remittances, travel expenses and mileage, total sales invoices, equipment and supply bids, and delinquent accounts).

State Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma.
Agency Minimum Requirements:
Experience in entry-level accounting or bookkeeping.
