Position: Mechanic, Full time
Department: Construction
Must be at least 18 years of age

General Position Description:
Maintain and repair the Building’s equipment. To complete assigned PM’s and repairs as capable independently, or while working as part of team. Accurately diagnosing, pricing out parts and equipment necessary for repairs. Maintaining an orderly shop, and general maintenance of work areas. Drain clearing and water jetting as necessary. Assisting with other aspects of the department as needed.

Years of Experience And/ Or Education:

• Vocational/trade school degree and /or 1-3 years of experience
• Basic knowledge of trades such as equipment repair, electrical, refrigeration and HVAC
• Familiar with operation of power tools, welding, and equipment such as scissor lifts
• Basic computer knowledge

Major Skills and Personal Characteristics:

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks; Flexibility in work schedule
• Naturally inquisitive with a desire to learn and develop their skill set

Major Responsibilities:

• Complete PM’s and repairs/ projects as assigned by the FM with supervision as necessary
• Price out all repairs and maintain data logs of equipment repair history
• Shop maintenance and cleaning as necessary, drain maintenance as required
