What are my responsibilities?

The Primary responsibility of the Groundskeeper is to keep the property in a maximum state of cleanliness and functionality that includes but is not limited to:

• Picking up of all trash every morning
• Monitoring and cleaning, as needed, the pool areas, laundry rooms, mail areas, compactor areas, recreational areas, grounds adjacent to road, areas in front of the office, walkways, buildings and parking lots, in addition to all lawn and bedding areas.
• Alerting Maintenance Supervisor to any problems, changes, issues etc.
• Cleaning and raking shrub areas, and shoveling mud and snow as necessary.
• Using the blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and brush.
• Planting flowers or shrubs as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assisting with various physical tasks as directed by Maintenance Supervisor such as tearing down, repairing or replacing fencing.
• Carrying and disposing of abandon furniture etc.
• Alerting the Maintenance Supervisor of any potential safety hazards and correct any when able.
• Assisting RFO team as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position, FLSA Overtime Status position.
