The Dedicated Well-Being Coordinator will work closely with the Account Management Team and Client's Health and Wellness team in executing the organization’s health management goals. The primary focus of the Dedicated Well-Being Coordinator is health promotion.

In collaboration, with the account team, the Dedicated Well-Being Coordinator executes the appropriate delivery and coordination of wellness programs, community and vendor programs, and monitors effectiveness of the programs. The focus of the Dedicated Well-Being Coordinator is the working well population of employees in aggregate. A core objective of this position is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles. The onsite client locations are across Miami-Dade County, FL.

General Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Employer and Wellness Champions
a. Collaborate with the employer in facilitation of a wellness committee and include different levels of employer leadership and employees from the worksite
b. Review the proposed health promotion strategy with the wellness champions, partnering with the lead for health and wellness as appropriate

2. Collaborate in development and delivery of promotion campaign
a. Newsletters, posters, email, incentives, reminders, etc.
b. Overall promotion development and deployment

3. Health Awareness Seminars
a. End to end coordination of health awareness seminars
b. Deliver single or multi-session workshops on a group basis
c. Education for various health related topics (nutrition/healthy eating, physical activity, etc.)

4. Wellness Campaigns
a. Facilitate health related group activities among population over a defined time period (Employer Fitness Challenge, Resilience courses, etc.)
b. Focus of campaign is to initiate behavior change and health improvement

5. Wellness Event/Fair
a. Assist employer HR/Management in coordination of event/fair (active member of employer led planning committee)
b. Assist with guest speakers, health assessment, open enrollment, family wellness event, annual biometrics, 5k, etc.

6. Wellness Resources
a. Manage wellness boards and wellness champions
b. Share health and wellness related educational materials

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in health and wellness field

CHES preferred

Bachelor’s degree in health education, health promotion, or related field preferred

Experience with direct member communication (written and verbal)

Experience in health education and wellness coaching preferred

Experience conducting educational groups preferred

The client this Dedicated Well-Being Coordinator will serve is Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The job will be located onsite at the client's various locations.
