In today's world, content is everywhere: online courses, college partnerships, more books and resources than we could have dreamt of in years past. The challenge in education is no longer finding and communicating content to a new generation. The challenge has become: how to curate that content; how to motivate learning; how to help students find and pursue their values.
This approach takes work to learn, so you need to come in with that attitude. It also takes flexibility, and a willingness to experiment. You'll be joining a team of ambitious, creative, and inspiring educators and a fast-paced organization with opportunities for growth and development.
Your role:
- Support a small group of students in their holistic education: working with them to ensure they are successful in classes, know when and how to ask for help, choose individual pursuits and studies, and consider long-term goals
- Identify academic, personal, and social goals
- Establishing and modeling a strong, supportive community that upholds ATI's core values at all times
- Working closely with your colleagues on campus and throughout the ATI network to continually improve the program and support our students
- Partner with parents to ensure students are fully supported at home and at school

- Are an experienced mentor, coach, or advisor of adolescents who wants to help individual students explore their passions, overcome challenges, and surpass expectations
- Are deeply passionate about your subject area (math, science, arts, humanities) but with a generalist's approach to knowledge
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
