Responsibilities:
- Champion the recruiting, selection, onboarding, and orientation process to ensure the Touchstone Experience.
- Develop and implement market-based recruitment initiatives to hire best-in-class team members.
- Ensure heart test hiring and adherence to interview map is practiced at all levels.
- Coordinate team member Touchstone Experience committee to promote engagement and enhance retention.
- Nurture a healthy work environment for team members.
- Operate the Human Resources Department in accordance with the established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to maintain effective care and service through the adoption and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Act as community liaison to the team members and administration for all HR related issues.
- Assist with hiring templates, scheduling, and labor management.
- Prepare and review reports as required to support the community leaders to achieve operational excellence.
- Assist Leadership team in mediating complaints and disputes concerning Team Members.
- Ensure pre-employment protocols are followed in accordance with Company policies including but not limited to timely background checks.
- Accountable for interpreting and communicating HR policies to leaders and team members.
- Set an example for consistently working cooperatively with leadership team and team members.
- Coordinate occupational injuries as they occur; monitor and track injuries and ensure open lines of communication between all parties.
- Collaborate with CSO HR Team on the leave of absence process.
- Maintain compliance with Paycor data entry, integrity, and tracking.
- Adhere to all deadlines including payroll deadlines, guidelines, and processes.
- Maintain Touchstone Experience Bulletin Board
- Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Degree in human resources related field and long-term care experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years prior experience in healthcare human resources required (in lieu of degree)
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Superior oral and written communication skills required
- Organized and solution-oriented
