Responsibilities:
  • Champion the recruiting, selection, onboarding, and orientation process to ensure the Touchstone Experience.
  • Develop and implement market-based recruitment initiatives to hire best-in-class team members.
  • Ensure heart test hiring and adherence to interview map is practiced at all levels.
  • Coordinate team member Touchstone Experience committee to promote engagement and enhance retention.
  • Nurture a healthy work environment for team members.
  • Operate the Human Resources Department in accordance with the established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to maintain effective care and service through the adoption and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Act as community liaison to the team members and administration for all HR related issues.
  • Assist with hiring templates, scheduling, and labor management.
  • Prepare and review reports as required to support the community leaders to achieve operational excellence.
  • Assist Leadership team in mediating complaints and disputes concerning Team Members.
  • Ensure pre-employment protocols are followed in accordance with Company policies including but not limited to timely background checks.
  • Accountable for interpreting and communicating HR policies to leaders and team members.
  • Set an example for consistently working cooperatively with leadership team and team members.
  • Coordinate occupational injuries as they occur; monitor and track injuries and ensure open lines of communication between all parties.
  • Collaborate with CSO HR Team on the leave of absence process.
  • Maintain compliance with Paycor data entry, integrity, and tracking.
  • Adhere to all deadlines including payroll deadlines, guidelines, and processes.
  • Maintain Touchstone Experience Bulletin Board
  • Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in human resources related field and long-term care experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience in healthcare human resources required (in lieu of degree)
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
  • Superior oral and written communication skills required
  • Organized and solution-oriented
