Description & Requirements

The HR coordinator will be primarily responsible to perform administrative duties as well as serving as a resource with employee inquiries. Position will be responsible for a variety of HR tasks including but not limited to hourly benefits- attendance and leave management. This position will be located onsite at the Davenport- IA facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good communication skills- both verbal and written. Bilingual strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to manage multiple processes and projects with minimal direction.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Must have strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of Word- Excel- PowerPoint- Outlook.
  • Use simple mathematics on a periodic basis.
  • A high school diploma or GED. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute end-to-end candidate communications and owns Hourly recruitment for Davenport Plant
  • Host and leads virtual and onsite job interest career fairs resulting in a ready talent pipeline for Davenport Kraft Heinz.
  • Monitor positions- applicant flow- conversion rates- drop-off- reach- and similar KPIs
  • Identifies opportunities with technical schools- placement agencies- military- etc. to build programs to supply talent to the regional plant market
  • Focus outreach efforts to local community partners to influence the right talent with the right attitude to apply KHC Plant openings
  • Owns all interview communication and follow up with candidates.
  • Involved in interviewing- and building and maintaining a pipeline of ready hourly talent to be placed in the full cycle recruitment
  • Assist in managing employee relations by investigating- resolving- and communicating in regard to employee questions- issues- or concerns. Determine and take appropriate action to resolve issues in a timely- appropriate- and confidential manner.
  • Ensures that human resources files and employment records are accurate- organized- and up-to-date while maintaining confidentiality of the contents.
  • Track and maintain attendance and leave of absence (i.e. bereavement- FMLA- disability- jury duty).
  • Abe to effectively work with all in the facility and communicate and help field employee questions and inquiries.
  • Assist Training Coordinator with getting documents and supplies together for new hire orientations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Primary Schedule is on 1st shift. Overtime may be required. This position will be located onsite at Kraft Heinz in Davenport- IA.
