Requires a well-organized individual that will be responsible for the management of daily business activities and administrative tasks associated with the review and acknowledgement of customer PO’s, issuance of sales orders and POs to Contract Manufacturer’s, issuance of POs to support prototype builds, coordination of shipping requirements and issuance of invoices to customers upon shipment of goods. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with sales support, coordination of customer delivery schedules with contract manufacturer’s build plans to ensure on time delivery as well as liaising with customer personnel.

To be successful in the role, one should be able to resolve problematic situations efficiently and have excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Position Skills / Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience working as a component manufacturer supplier to Tier 1 and other OEM’s.
• Experience working as a supplier in the Automotive and other on/off road vehicle manufacturing channels.
• Experience working as a supplier in the Industrial and Distribution channels.
• Experience working directly with Contract Manufacturers
• Experience with logistics as well as shipping and receiving records documentation.
• Experience working directly with Customer purchasing and scheduling personnel.
• Experience gathering performance metric data for On Time Delivery of Sales
• Experience monitoring and reporting on backlog and past dues
• Experience working in an ISO9001:2015 environment.
• Must have proficiency in MICROSOFT Office 365 Tools.
• Must be a self-starter and able to prioritize tasks for completion.
• QuickBooks experience a plus
• Experience in international shipping requirements a plus

Position Responsibilities:

• Direct interaction with Contract Manufacturers daily
• Direct interaction with customer order placement representatives
• Timely review and acknowledgement of customer PO’s • Alerting senior management of PO discrepancies within customer PO’s
• Alerting senior management of changes in backlog and customer forecasts
• Creating and processing sales orders to contract manufacturers in a timely manner to support demand and customer delivery schedule.
• Manage expedite requests from customers with contract manufacturers.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers the direct shipment of goods
• Assist accounting with the issuance of invoices to customer as well as collections.
• Maintain an organized filing system for Proposals and Customer PO’s
• Perform data entry duties pertaining to KPI metrics, sales figures, or other key data.
• Assist with administrative duties for the sales team members.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Location and Travel:

• This position requires one to be in the Chicago area as the position is remote hybrid, requiring travel to the contract manufacturing location in Schiller Park, Illinois on a regular basis. In addition, an occasional trip to our office in El Dorado Hills, CA. or to other customer and supplier locations may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
