This role supports 7-Eleven and we will consider applicants living in major metropolitan areas West of the Mississippi.


Job Description


Job Summary:

Responsible for leading the Company’s representation at the field level (internal and external) related to assigned Chain retail and Wholesale accounts and are responsible for Compression Calling on Sr. Leadership across the assigned portfolio that includes the development of strategic relations, business plans and execution impacting performance. Will act as the face of the Company for the assigned portfolio of customers to oversee and manage activities that create a sustainable competitive advantage for the Company.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Development:

  • Engage with Sales leadership to share key channel and customer requirements and identify opportunities to leverage across the company
  • Lead Customer Development strategies and plans to support formal Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes across assigned/targeted accounts
  • Own customer level contacts and partnerships that drive alignment between ITGB and the customer key strategies. Buyer Level and +2 levels above
  • Own and implement total Customer Wiring approach to integrate us and our customers holistically
  • Form a strategic partnership with customer representing “One Company” across the 3 business units
  • Establish and execute customer “touch” frequency with a focus on live/in-person interactions a minimum of 1x per month

Customer Headquarter Selling and Execution:

  • Accountable to deliver assigned Sales KPI’s and key Sales and Brand initiatives across the assigned customer portfolio
  • Identify and pursue incremental opportunities to shape the customers current and future business practices to grow the Company brand share while strengthening the Company as a preferred vendor partner
  • Sell and gain commitment for the annual Joint-Business Plan with the customer that aligns with the company Business/Brand plans 18mo planning horizon to deliver assigned KPI’s tied to volume, distribution, share, profit, and any other objectives at customer/channel level
  • Customize and link company strategies, plans, and key initiatives with the customer’s key strategies and tactical plans

Retail Store Development:

  • Measure and enforce all requirements of our retail and wholesale partnership agreements so that they are in full compliance by retail stores
  • Maximize effectiveness of all Merchandising Fixtures/Displays to present a competitive merchandising advantage at retail
  • Deploy retail execution guidelines and key objectives to Retail selling organizations to maximize in-store sales results
  • Ensure all pricing models/metrics are fully implemented across retail portfolio (base price, promotions, gap to competition, etc.)
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate with ITGB Field Personnel to enable and support high level execution in-store

Qualifications


Required Minimum Qualifications
:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years related sales experience to include, but not limited to:
    • Regional customer management experience within the Broader Consumer Products Industry
    • Experience selling across a variety of channels up to and including: Convenience, Club, Grocery, Mass, Drug, Dollar, Discount, Tobacco Store, and Wholesale channels.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license issued from state of residence

Knowledge of:

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
  • CRM / TPM tools (i.e. SFA/MEI, Sales-Force, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study
  • 1+ years sales managerial experience

Additional Information


Work Environment and Physical Demand:

  • Travel required (roughly 50%...could be more based on assigned portfolio).
  • Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to bend, crouch, stretch, climb, or reach in retail environments.
  • Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Occasional exposure to noise, dust, or weather.
  • Operates in a retail and wholesale environment.
  • Requires prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.
