REPORTS TO: Operations

The Labeling Specialist will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of product labeling and packaging initiatives at Evogen Nutrition. This role is dedicated to ensuring the accuracy and compliance of Evogen product labeling is fulfilled from product to product. individual will work with an internal cross functional team to support existing and new product launch timelines. The candidate will ensure all labeling supporting documentation and final approved labeling documents (approved content, final artwork, proofs, etc.) match. They will also work with contract manufacturers on fulfilling labeling and packaging requirements. Candidate should have a working knowledge of US dietary supplement and food product labeling requirements.

Role requires timely coordination, tracking, maintenance and review of labeling and packaging projects to support market demands. The right individual should be self-motivated, organized and able to effectively handle multiple projects and timelines at once. Project reporting for assigned milestones is expected.

As required, this individual will also assist in other duties as assigned to support company activities. Lastly, the individual will be responsible for adhering to the Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect for their respective role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Track and report the progress of labeling changes for existing products and/or new product development.
• Working with internal and external teams to capture the needs and requirements of labeling and packaging are met for Evogen finished products.
• Coordinate the implementation of labeling changes with Operations.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Have the ability to work as part of team supporting company product initiatives.
• Work closely with leads from internal stakeholders including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Quality, Purchasing, etc., to meet and support product launch and/or release timelines.
• Review, interpret, summarize, and provide guidance & recommendations on technical matters related to product labeling and packaging needs.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of supplement facts or nutrition facts labeling requirement experience is ideal.
• Comfortable with managing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Experience with some project management is ideal.
• Detail oriented and great written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with, and communicate with, all levels of the organization.
• Regulatory, labeling, or quality background preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and nutritional software (Genesis, etc)
• Highly organized, performance-driven and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Goal-oriented- known for your integrity.
• Team player with ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback.
• Outgoing, enthusiastic, and engaging.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
