SCT is looking for full time or part time Licensed Clinical Social Workers to provide in-person psychotherapy services to our community residents.

Senior Care Therapy is a clinician owned and operated behavioral health company. We take pride in providing supportive care to the geriatric population in over 300 sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living communities throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Through patient-centered psychology services, we create a meaningful impact on residents' mood, daily life, and functioning.

Our clinicians at SCT provide Supportive Counseling and get to focus on treatment sessions including initial assessments and follow up sessions. We take care of all administrative tasks including billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre certs! Our documentation is very efficient and all electronic. Within this setting the preferred times are daytime hours, because in later evenings this population can be challenging to effectively service. Within this time frame, SCT believes in work-life-balance and flexibility is available in this position. Weekends and on-call are not mandatory! We offer various amounts of support to our clinicians so you can be successful and effective in your role.

Compensation: Full Time, Salaried. Part Time, Fee-for-Service

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Monday-Friday, standard hours of care
• Perform initial diagnostic assessments and follow ups.
• Facilitate family sessions in person or via phone
• Collaborate with the treatment team, interdisciplinary team, and Directors
• Document in electronic medical records system(s)

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) according to requirements of the state in which you’ve applied
• Able to manage a high-volume caseload
• Experience working with a geriatric population preferred
• Proven history of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders
• Ability to travel up to 45 min.
• Previous experience as an LCSW in Skilled Nursing, Hospital, Hospice, or Home Care setting preferred
• Full vaccination and booster status required (legal/medical exemptions permitting)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency
