A professional nurse who will plan and manage patients care according to each individual's needs. They are responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their wellbeing as part of a larger medical team. Their duties may include checking vital signs, physical conditions, blood pressure, temperature, recording a patient's medical history, and assisting patients with hygiene.
QUALIFICATONS
- Completion of state approved training program (generally in the form of a diploma, certificate, or associate degree)
- LPN license (pass NCLEX-PN exam)
- BLS certification.
- 1-2 years recent nursing experience.
