Job Opening Summary
The licensed practical nurse (LPN) is a clinical staff position in the Department of Nursing and Patient Services with emphasis on the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The LPN administers medications. The LPN provides nursing support to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care and nursing's vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.
Job Opening Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
- Valid LPN license.
- Successful completion of a board-approved, 30-hour IV therapy course.
- Demonstrates willingness and ability to maintain clinical competency as required by assigned unit.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current LPN license.

Shift hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday-Friday
