Come make your mark at Midland Plastics! As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the development or improvement of equipment, processes, and continuous improvement. You will periodically review plant layout and recommend changes to increase productivity and efficiency. Conceptualize new machinery, equipment, fixtures, and tooling to make the manufacturing process more effective.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and implementation of process control techniques and procedures in manufacturing departments.
• Development, auditing, and continuous improvement of quality and production goals while serving as a technical point of contact for supervisors and production operators.
• Creation of standard operating procedures (SOP) capturing current production processes while implementing safety, ergonomic, and production rate improvements.
• Close interaction with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees.
• Provision of engineering support in production department to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Creation and maintenance of accurate documentation of tooling drawings, equipment requirements, and associated plant layouts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
