Genesis is seeking an experienced, Full-Time, Certified Medical Assistant to work with our Rheumatology team. Must be able to travel with the physicians to multiple North Houston facilities. Applicants must be dedicated to providing superior patient care, able to prioritize, organize and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Genesis is a tobacco-free employer.
Job Requirements:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required
Prior experience working with rheumatologist is preferred
Current CPR is required
Bilingual preferred
Willing to cross-train for front desk duties
Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy of medical records
Ensures the medical provider orders are implemented
Effectively participates in planning and preparing for patient visits ensuring appropriate schedules, test results, and clinic specific requirements are available
