Medical Assistant Lead PEDS (MA) - FT/Days - Fountain Valley
- (MIL003300)Position Summary:
The Lead Medical Assistant is responsible for a broad range of support services to ensure efficient patient operations including assisting professional staff in direct patient care, admitting and discharging, scheduling patient visits, requesting authorizations, triaging patient and family inquiries, maintaining patient information, ordering and maintaining supplies, preparing required reports and providing other support as requested, in the Miller Children's Hospital Pediatric Outpatient Specialty Clinic in Fountain Valley.
- A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) certification is required.
- Certificate from Accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
- 2+ years of nursing support experience in hospital and /or medical environment is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
