Experienced applicants only for a busy Multi-Specialty Group Physician Practice.

We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller for a permanent 40-hour position. The candidate must have minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical doctor’s (M.D.) office. The position would entail but not be limited to denials follow up and appeal on all claims for a 24 provider office to include the specialties of orthopedics, orthopedic hand surgery, orthopedic spine surgery, podiatry, interventional pain management, in-office spinal injections, plus, any other related office duties as may be assigned. Billing experience in multiple specialties needed and an understanding of anatomy to appeal surgical procedures. Experience with worker's compensation, auto accidents, and Athena Collector a plus! The pay rate is commensurate with experience and negotiable based on, current pay rate, years of experience, knowledge, and billing specialties experience related to this job.

Candidates must be computer savvy, detail-oriented, organized, able to follow through with tasks from beginning to end, multi-task, works well under pressure and is a team player. Accuracy and speed are a must!

Benefits would include paid vacation, 11 paid holidays, and a 401k plan eligible after one year of employment. We offer Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO or HMO health insurance.
