MIG Welders needed in Cement City, MI. Will need to be available for 1st and 2nd shift. Pay starting at $17-$18/hr based on experience.

MIG Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 to $18.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)

• Must be available for 1st or 2nd shift.
• 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.
• 2nd Shift 3:30pm-2:00am Monday-Thursday.
• Uses MIG welder to assemble fabricated metal products in an efficient manner to maximize production.
• Operates the equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment or its operators to the Safety Director and Maintenance Department.
• Produces strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent.
• Follows required procedures and uses appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process.
• Maintains/produces a level of output that will minimize production delays.

MIG Welder Qualifications:

• 1 Year of welding experience required.
• Knowledge of the welding process and equipment.
• Ability to operate a plasma cutter and acetylene torches.
• Ability to read tape measures and angle finders.
• Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches.
• Comforting lifting 50 pounds.
• Able to Read Blueprints.
