GLEN BURNIE, MD FAMILY! (#7046)

Looking for Nanny to Start: ASAP!

$900 to $1,100 per week + PAID Vacation, PAID Holidays & PAID Personal Days

Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 4:30pm

Rose are Red, Violets are Blue! Nanny we picked flowers for you! This Glen Burnie family is looking for someone to help care three children! They all love to make new friends and can’t wait to meet you! Mom and Dad are looking for someone to assist in light housework.

5 year old boy: He is very outgoing but can be sensitive. He relates better with adults and has been working on his social skills at school. He likes meeting new people. He is in kindergarten. The parents like to keep learning fun and follow his interests. They encourage his creativity and any positive social interaction. He responds very well to positive attention for behaviors we would like to see more of. Mom and Dad encourage his curiosity about the world. He eats a varied and balanced diet. He is currently into making his own sandwiches! Soda and candy are a special treat and fairly rare. He loves to eat homemade popsicles outside! He has quiet time at 2 each day. Sometimes he naps, other times he just plays quietly. No allergies or health concerns. He is potty trained and still working really hard at it. His sentences are advanced, and he speaks freely about his feelings.

3 year old girl: She is a little shy, but she warms up quickly! She has not had a lot of experience with her peers, but she tends to be timid. She is not in school, and the parents would like the nanny to focus on learning through play! Mom does have some preschool material available if the nanny would like to incorporate some of the fun activities! She can be a picky eater. She would prefer to just eat and drink dairy, but this is a limited food group for her. She loves "lunchables" which actually just means whatever food is in a bento box! She also loves dips and sauces. The parents dilute juice with water, and she loves that too! She is very verbal, and a huge helper. She knows where everything belongs and she is a little narrator! She naps in the afternoon for up to 3 hours, with quiet time starting at 1pm. She takes medications; they are written out on a schedule. The nanny will need to give morning and afternoon medication to her. She is fully day potty trained and enjoys being a big girl! She still needs reminders and some assistance, however. Her speech is clear and highly advanced. She uses a lot of sign language. She is extremely polite and helpful. She loves hugs!

2 year old boy: He is very outgoing and active! The parents are focusing on learning through play and manners. He is very smart! He is so busy, and very active. He enjoys copying what his siblings are doing. He loves to climb. He is extremely easy-going. He likes chicken nuggets, fruit, and sandwiches. He is good at identifying if something is too much for him to chew or not. They limit his juice intake and candy/cookies are rare treats. He starts naptime at 1pm and sleeps up to 3 hours. No health concerns or allergies. He is chatty and his words are getting easier to understand. He also uses sign language, and if that fails, he will lead you to where he wants your help!

Start Date: As soon as possible. Mom will work with the nanny for training. It would be nice if the nanny had flexibility to stay for a few extra hours once or twice a month for a date night. The parents are flexible on this and would be happy to work with the nanny’s schedule. Mom works from home. She usually comes up around lunch time to grab food and check in. Grandpa comes about once a week to see the kids. It's a nice break for the nanny as they swarm him to read them books and push them on the swing set. No change for summer schedule except taking the children on adventures instead of kindergarten! They would love if the nanny was open to staying overnight occasionally. They do not anticipate asking the nanny to travel with them. They would like the nanny to drive the family's minivan during work hours. The driving is local and mostly for school drop off/pick up (which is rare as their oldest child rides the bus this year) and going to and from activities! Payroll.

Wishes: They hope to find a nurturing nanny who will be a consistent extension of their parenting team. They follow respectful parenting and would like someone who is on board with that! Their ideal nanny would be very energetic and active, loves being outdoors, is a good communicator, and very organized. They would like help with tidying up and folding the children’s laundry as well.
