Position Overview:

VCC Social Enterprises (VCCSE) is currently seeking an experienced Deposit Operations Specialist to be responsible for back-end processing task of the bank’s deposit products and services. This position provides support for internal and external customers with online banking, ACH processing, wires, research, along with file maintenance and daily report reviews. Prefer a candidate within reasonable driving distance of Richmond, Christiansburg, or Norfolk offices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• EFT and ACH along with clearing house adjustments
• Daily Deposit GL reconciliation and work closely with finance to ensure daily issues are researched and resolved in a timely manner
• Assist in trouble shooting problems related to customer accounts issues, including rejects, statement notices and keyboarding errors.
• Process outgoing and incoming wires
• Manage the online banking platform solution including setup of online banking profiles, monitoring reports and assisting customers with any related issues
• Review of daily deposit and CIF reports along with tracking of missing documents/information for file maintenance or new accounts
• Assist External and Internal Customers with questions or issues as they arise related to Deposit accounts, wires, and ACH
• Process return checks and ACH items

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma
• 2-3 years’ experience in Deposit Operations. Knowledge of accounting is a plus.
• Excellent Word, Excel, and Windows file management skills mandatory
• Familiarity with Outlook or similar network-based email and calendar software
• Experience using Fiserv Precision or other similar core software

Compensation and Benefits:

• $43,000 - $51,000 annual salary depending on skills and experience
• Bonus opportunity if bonuses are paid in any given calendar year
