East Coast Wellness Center is looking for a full time - part time Physical Therapist to join our group of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Doctors, who provide advanced ortho-biologic treatments to our patients. This opportunity as head of the Physical Therapy department will give you independence in your overall autonomy. The combination between a non narcotic approach to pain management, with therapeutic treatments and neuro-muscular rehabilitation are the key for our patients recovery. Our patient population consists of post ortho-biologic treatments, sports medicine, degenerative joint disease, and post orthopedic injury.

Responsibilities

• Tailor personalized treatments that will help improve patients motion and mobility
• Provide alternatives to surgery using a non-narcotic approach.
• Using a variety of treatment techniques therapist will develop patients care plans
• Monitor wellness-oriented programs specific to patients’ needs
• Patients motivation, in order to help them function optimally
• Enhance patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Consult and practice with other health professionals
• Document patient clinical notes to be submitted to insurance companies.

Education/Experience Required:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapist program
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Rhode Island
• Interest in working with cutting edge technology in orthobiologics and regenerative medicine.
• Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. (Preferred)
