The Job
Our Paid Media team is essential to the overall digital marketing strategy and campaign execution for our clients. The Paid Media Strategist, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area, will lead these efforts remotely through collaboration with internal and external teams to deliver the best media strategies and solutions. An experienced, self-driven Paid Media professional is essential to success in this role.

THE SKILLS - A successful Tallwave Paid Media Strategist candidate will:
- Be able to fully strategize, develop, manage, and report on multi-channel digital paid media plans.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of client goals and business objectives and how paid media can support the client in meeting those goals and objectives.
- Be able to conduct thorough paid media audits with thoughtful insights and actionable recommendations.
- Be able to build strategic media plans based on market research, historical client data, audit findings, and data from available digital media tools.
- Have proficient technical skills in platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Facebook Business Manager, Google Campaign Manager, and Google Analytics.
- Be able to manage day-to-day platform optimizations, ongoing campaign maintenance, vendor relationships, and pacing.
- Be able to analyze, interpret, and present data in a meaningful narrative that aligns with each client’s business-level goals and objectives
- Be able to provide strategic recommendations for client growth.
- Have excellent analytical, decision-making, critical thinking, and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication interpersonal skills with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
- Be intentional about collaborating with other internal teams to drive integrated strategies.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to junior team members.
THE REQUIREMENTS - An ideal Tallwave Paid Media Strategist candidate will:
- Live in the Dallas/FortWorth metro area in a work-from-home environment.
- Have a BA/BS in marketing, business, or technology fields preferred.
- Demonstrate excellence in executing hands-on operations in paid media platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, paid social media platforms, Google Campaign Manager.
- Be proficieny in various data and reporting platforms including Google Analytics, Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio), and Excel.
- Demonstrate excellence in strategic thinking and problem solving.
- Demonstrate excellence in communication and relationship building, both internally and externally.
- Have very strong attention to detail.
- Have at least 4+ years of hands-on digital paid media experience, including planning and execution.
Physical demand:
This job may require sitting for long periods of time, and minimal (if any) lifting. In this client facing role minimal (<10%) travel may be required.

Working conditions
Employees operate in a professional office environment and routinely use standard office equipment like computers, telephones, and teleconferencing equipment. At our headquarters in Scottsdale, employees have their choice of working from our awesome offices or via remote. Our office is an open social environment.
